Hi — Just wanted to let you know that Oreck just launched the Oreck halo, the world’s only germ-killing vacuum that uses a UV-C light to kill germs and microorganisms that live beneath the carpet surface. There is some interesting before/after video and scientific data at: http://oreckhalonewsroom.com/ Please let me know if I can get you a unit to review or a swab kit to do a before/after on your carpet.
